Kimberly’s passion for storytelling began at a young age, writing her first book at just 10 years old—a cat-themed tale for her beloved teacher, Mrs. Otto. Throughout her school years, she wrote for her high school yearbook and even shared poems in an online writing community. Although life took her through careers in recruiting and college admissions, the characters and ideas she encountered along the way never stopped fueling her imagination.

In October 2024, Kimberly married her wonderful husband, Ben, and together, they share their home with two dogs, Quinn and Harley, and a cat named Taco. Alongside writing, Kimberly enjoys painting, sewing, and reading—especially mysteries, thrillers, and autobiographies.
